A Few Tips for Feeding:
Don't Overfeed: In a humid bin, uneaten dried mealworms will eventually grow mold. It's best to offer one or two at a time and see how quickly your colony finishes them.
Check Your Species: While almost all isopods will nibble on them, larger Porcellio species will often swarm a mealworm and drag it away, while smaller Cubaris or Armadillidium might take a few days to make a dent in one.
Variety: To keep the colony thriving, you can rotate mealworms with other proteins like dried shrimp, minnows, or fish flakes.
